Yeshasvini members belonging to rural areas can take benefit of free medical surgery costing up to Rs 1.25 lakh and Rs 2 lakh, while a member from urban can take benefit up to Rs 1.75 lakh for single admission and Rs 2.50 lakh for multiple admission.

Who Is Eligible For The Yeshasvini Scheme?

  • Members of self-help groups, fishermen cooperatives, weavers, 'beedi' workers, and Stree Shakti groups, who have financial transactions with cooperatives or bank are eligible for the Yeshasvini card facility.
  • The age of the applicant must not be less than 75 years.
  • An applicant should be a member of the Cooperative Society for a minimum duration of 3 months.
  • Beneficiary family members can also avail the benefits of this scheme even though they are not members of a rural cooperative society.

  • This scheme is for farmers of Karnataka who are members of the co-operative society .
  • This scheme is open for individuals from newborn babies up to a person maximum age of 75 years old.
  • The enrollment period for the scheme is done in the month of July to October.

  • Next, click on the ‘Apply Online for Yeshasvini Health Card’ link. 
  • Enter all the details on the online registration form and click on ‘Submit’. 
  • Once the submission is done, you will get your User ID and Password. 
  • Go to the ‘Home Page’. 
  • Login to the portal using your credentials. 
  • You will be redirected to Yeshasvini Health Card form. 
  • Fill up the form and finally, click on the ‘Submit’ button.

How to Claim Yeshasvini Health Insurance Scheme?

To avail the benefits of Yeshasvini Health Insurance Scheme, an individual must approach its network hospital and follow the below given process: 

  1. Visit your network hospital of this scheme. Provide all the relevant documents to your medical coordinating officer    
  2. Once the documents are verified, you need to pay the enrolment fee for medical tests.   
  3. If medical surgery is required, pre-authorisation request will be received by the Management Service Provider(MSP), they will verify the request from their side. Diagnosed person will get an approval for cashless treatment.
  4. After-discharge, Bills and discharge summary will be sent by Hospital to MSP for claim settlement.

To register for this scheme, the applicant must be a member of the Cooperative societies at least for 3 months. From May to June, new enrollment for the Karnataka Yeshasvini plan is completed at all relevant corporative organisations.

The Yeshasvini Co-Operative Farmers Health Care Scheme offers health insurance coverage to Indian farmers,  who are members of cooperative societies in Karnataka. The scheme covers around 803 surgical procedures.

In order to enrol in insurance through rural cooperative institutions, a family of four must pay Rs 600 for registration. Members of urban cooperative institutions pay Rs 1,200.

The 803 surgical procedures covered by this programme. A Yashaswini member from the countryside can receive free medical procedures up to Rs. 1.25 lakh and Rs. 2 lakh, while a member from the city can receive care up to Rs. 1.75 lakh for a single admission and up to Rs. 2.50 lakh for numerous hospital stay.
